AdriAn Peel, M.Div., M.Sc., B.Sc.

senior Pastor

I am the Senior Pastor at Faith Sanctuary, and I also oversee the church my family planted in Woodbridge, Ontario. I grew up in a religious home and developed a deep sense of God’s Presence. After withdrawing from admission to become a priest, I followed the biblical paths to salvation in Jesus at age eighteen.

Based on the biblical description of what it means to be made in the image of God, I believe that salvation in Jesus releases those rights and responsibilities to us. I believe in the dignity of the human being, that everyone is made in the image of God to become the best that they were created to be. And my purpose is to encourage every person to reach their full potential in Jesus.

I retired early from a career as an Operations Executive at leading companies in Canada and other parts of the world. I am now building communities to teach biblical principles that transcend cultures, so people can bring the best of who they are to the table and successfully engage secular life.

I am married to Lucy, and we have two adult children, Daniel and Andrea. I have a black belt in karate, play the guitar and am a board member at P2C, Canada.

Chris Simpson

Director, Biblical Literacy

I gave my life to Jesus when I was nineteen years old and I have been privileged to serve him ever since.

I have a passion for the ministry of the Word of God and to see people develop their full potential in Jesus, to lead thriving, impactful lives. My desire is for believers in Jesus Christ to know what the Bible says, comprehend what it means and genuinely understand how to apply its transformational truths in daily life.  As the Director of Biblical Literacy it is my privilege to support this goal as we collectively pursue a deeper knowledge of God.

I enjoy traveling and I am a huge basketball fan.  I have been tremendously blessed to share life with my amazing wife Keisha and our beautiful children Elianna, Ethan and Elyssa.

Dian Baker, B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed.

Director, Cultural Liberty

If I were to pick a tagline to describe my walk with Christ, it would be Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I believe wholeheartedly in the transformative power of Jesus Christ, and I marvel each day at how I have been strengthened and changed according to His will and purpose.

As the Director of Cultural Liberty, my primary goal is to be an instrument of God, helping to further His kingdom. The principal objective of Cultural Liberty is to connect people through in-house groups so people feel valued. Embedded within this role is the idea of helping anyone from any cultural group access and remain in the hope of Kingdom culture.

I began my walk with Christ in 2001, and I continue to daily draw strength from Him by learning more about His grace and unchanging nature. My introduction to ministry started almost two decades ago when I became a Sunday School teacher here at Faith Sanctuary. I also have approximately two decades of experience in public education. I bring these experiences and the support of my husband and two children to my present role.

Maude Chalifour, b.a.

Director, outreach

I began my relationship with Jesus Christ as a teenage girl through the reading of His Word, the Bible. I was baptized at Faith Sanctuary at the age of 19. The Lord has transformed my life and has made me the woman I am today. I am growing in my faith every day and have found that when you have Jesus in your life, you are never alone! I find joy in seeing people grow into who God has created them to be. I believe we should always see and seek the good in others, as we are all made in God's image.

As the Director of Outreach, I desire to see the church reach its full potential in reaching out and engaging with different communities. My vision is for God to help us bridge the gap in our lives that may keep us from involving Christ in every area of our lives!

I enjoy reading, writing and going for walks with my friend named Coffee! After Jesus Christ, the love of my life is my husband Nick, and I find purpose in raising the four energetic children God has given us.

Lucy Peel, MAdEd., b.a. honours

Director, Church Management and Administration

In 1983 a visiting evangelist came to my high school and shared the gospel of Jesus Christ during recess. I was drawn by the love of God and by the pull of His Spirit. I gave my life to Jesus and have been serving Him ever since. I have found Him to be true to His word; unchanging, steadfast and immovable. God is a faithful God as well as the God of the impossible. Because of that, I treasure Psalm 27:1 (NKJV) which says: "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"

My passion is to develop a positive connection as well as a healthy, transformative community in every sense, where people from various backgrounds can come to know Jesus, experience His love and walk hand in hand with Him throughout their life journey. My desire is to be an enabler and a catalyst for people to grow into what God has called them to be. As Director of Church Management and Administration, my aim is to facilitate growth and be an overpass through various avenues in administration and church management.

I am family-oriented and love spending time with my incredible husband Adrian with whom I have two children: Daniel and Andrea. I am also a Sensei and enjoy various activities from working out, hiking and horseback riding to reading, listening to music and spending quiet time in the presence of God.

Anurag Jaikumar, B.L., M.B.A.

Director, Global Ministry

I was privileged to be born into a family with strong Pentecostal roots. From a very early age, I was involved in various streams of the Ministry in India that was established in 1953. After coming to Canada in 2006, the first church my wife and I attended was Faith Sanctuary where the outpouring of love and kindness was heartfelt.

I have been married to my wife Annie, who is my gift from God, for over 19 years and we have three amazing children; Nathan, Sharon and Aaron.

As the Director of Global Ministry, my goal is to increase the footprint of the church by supporting, teaching and mentoring other churches and pastors around the world using the values and teachings that we firmly believe in. Training church leaders to achieve their full potential is something I hold very dear to my heart.

I have a degree in law and still have my credentials to practice law in India. I also have an MBA in marketing. My interests include travelling, learning about different cultures and trying out different types of food.
