What we believe

Our God

We believe there is one God, the eternal, holy, loving, all knowing, all-powerful, omnipresent Spirit, creator of all.

God's Word

We believe the Holy Bible is God’s true and complete Word to humanity, verified most notably through fulfilled prophecies concerning Jesus Christ.

God's Image

We believe all people were created in the image of God to be His children, His church and His bride, living in eternal fellowship with Him.

Humanity's Fall

We acknowledge that we have all failed to fulfill God’s plan and purpose for our lives, through willful disobedience to His Word, and acting against the voice of our own conscience.  Therefore, we have earned eternal alienation from His holy presence, i.e. spiritual and physical death.

Jesus Saves

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Almighty God, fully divine and fully human.  He came to Earth and willingly suffered death on the cross, the full payment and penalty for human sin.  He rose from the dead through His own power and now offers eternal life to all who will receive salvation by faith. (John 3: 14-17; 2 Cor. 5:18-21; Rom. 6:23b; Eph. 2:4-9).  This faith is ignited within us through the preaching of His Word (Rom. 10:14-17), and leads us to repentance: (a divinely inspired change of heart – turning away from sin and turning to God).
Scriptural References: (2 Cor. 7:9-10; 2 Tim. 2:24-26)

Our Faith Response

We demonstrate our faith and obedience to God through repentance; baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins; and receiving the gift of His Holy Spirit, which gives us the power to live a righteous, godly life, joyfully sharing the good news of our “new birth” with others.

Christ's Return

We believe our Lord Jesus Christ will soon return to Earth to receive His people to Himself and establish His righteous, eternal kingdom.
